Lent Week 1: Monday | Matthew 5 (1-12)

We are about to have our weekly Lent retreat call, so I will keep this brief.

Matthew 5 has made an extremely powerful impression on me this morning. I don't think I have ever seen it like this before.

I've also studied the Daily Traditional Latin Mass Reading here, and N.T. Wright's excellent commentary on Matthew 5:1-12.
